Dr. Simon has been a clinical assistant professor in the department of dermatology at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn since 1981, a position he assumed after serving as chief resident in dermatology. After completing his undergraduate work at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Simon received his medical training at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He completed an internship and post graduate training at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn and served his residency in dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn. Dr. Simon is past president of the Brooklyn Dermatologic Society, holds a Diplomate, American Board of Dermatology and is consistently included in the prestigious reference guide, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area.
Dr. Simon is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, The Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, The Dermatologic Radiotherapy Society, New York State Society of Dermatology, The American Medical Association, The Medical Society, County of Kings, and The Medical Society of the State of New York.
