Dr. Marrero received her medical degree magna cum laude from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences after graduating form Cornell University. Following an internship in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Dr. Marrero completed her residency in dermatology at Brown University in Providence, RI. She then pursued a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Marrero has published in several peer-reviewed publications, and presented her research at the annual American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology National Meeting. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is committed to residency education and teaches in the Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Clinic at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. Her main focus continues to be cutaneous oncology and the treatment of skin cancer with Mohs surgery
